From this lookout you can see several landmarks across Austin’s skyline, including UT Tower, the Texas Capitol, and the growing Rainey Street district.

Just across the river is the Colorado River Wildlife Sanctuary and along the south bank where you stand is Roy G Guerrero Park, Austin's 2nd largest park at almost 400 acres. It's crown jewel is Bird Bluff Trail.
